Default albums that aren't as good without their skits/interludes

Any of the the Wu classics except Ironman
    Doggy Style
    Dogg Food
    Muddy Waters
    Infamous
    BacDaFucUp
    The Chronic

I think skits went to hell in the early 00's and became pointless, prior they actually aided the album.
Reasonable Doubt had shit skits though

Best album with skits ever created.

Prince Paul - A Prince Among Thieves.

Infact up there with some of the best albums created period. Think I might listen the the whole thing right now.

    Death certificate. Niggaz for Life.

Agree that skits got shit n became a waste of space probably even before 2000. I'd say around the late 90's.

The skits on The Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP really added to the vibe of the album.

'Mr Hood' was really funny, '3 Feet High & Rising' especially mase needs a haircut, Biggie 'Ready To Die', some Busta Rhymes shit...

That was when albums were really designed as a whole piece. Even though you can take individual songs, the whole joints had a flow supported by the skits that told a story. These days its like they just throw skits in for no reason, to up the track count or whatever.

^Oh shit yeah, Mr Hood is prob my all thyme fave. I'd listen to just an album full of that shit with enthusiasm if such a thing existed, lolz. I always look forward to those skits when I listen to that album, even though it's a dope as fuck album too.
