On another note. the quality of Chris flow has improved massively, I prefer him at this speed, his breathing is so much better, That shit he does when he's rapping at warp speed, sucking in air always put me off listening to him which is a shame because he's an incredible lyricist.
I know what you mean. People first learn to rap and sound like their favorite rapper, then they learn all of the tricks (multis, speed, punchlines etc) and start doing that diddly iddly shit (most killa bees). Then they master it and can covey a message in diddly iddly (AZ), then they start finding their own voice, and start focusing on clarity. I think he's entering that last phase.
On Pun, I'm willing to believe most 90s rappers were pieces of shit because of their warped idea of what masculinity is and upbringing. The ones that weren't fake gangsters that is. I saw a video of pun beating his wife in front of his kids and it was really disappointing.
I can give a fuck less if he beat his wife. Capital punishment is still classic.

I used to love Big Pun, but to know that he was a abusive father and husband made me lose a bit of respect from him.
