Default Shyheim a.k.a. The Rugged Child turns 40 today (Appreciation thread)

According to Shy's Facebook page, he turns 40 years old today. Is he still in prison? if so, does anyone know for how long?

What's your favorite tracks and albums?

Remember hes an actor too! clips from the movie Orignals Gangstas (1996).

    Interviews...

    Some facts...

    Hes cousin with Ghostface

He starred in the video for TLC's "Waterfalls".

Shyheim once shared the stage with the Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur and Big Daddy Kane at Madison Square Garden for a live freestyle session.

His debut album "AKA The Rugged Child" was released on the same day as Nas debut "Illmatic".

The track "Coming of Age" from Jay-Z debut album Reasonable Doubt was supposed to feature Shyheim the Rugged Child, but he passed on it and the guest spot ultimately went to Memphis Bleek.

Yes, he still is in prison. He has about thirteen years left on his sentence.

"Lost Generation" is his best work and near classic- "Manchild" is also a strong album

Wish that the following was on "Lost Generation" instead of "Can You Feel It"

I like his three first albums though.
