Default Regardless of what u faggots whine about

The wu-tang clan have a really fucking strong discography, as a group.

36 n forever r obviously both thymeless classics, the w n iron flag r dope as fuck, 8d is well above average, still dope as fuck really, and tho abt was a flop as an album, most songs on it r still good. It's still all in all average at worst.

You faggots will never stop whining cos they set the bar so high early on when they were actually friendly with each other n hip hop was important to them, but regardless of what u faggots whine about their discog is strong as fuck.

Truth is I've barely listened to forever n 36 at all in the last decade or so. I doubt even once a year on average. But I did of course Play the fuck out if em back in the day. If I listen to a Wu clan album these days it's usually the w, iron flag or 8d. I love all those albums to the fullest.

yep they set the bar way high as their first 3 albums are all certified platinum status. i still listen to Iron Flag and 8D except i made a 1 album mix of both of them to my liking and i call it " Iron Diagrams"

Personally im happy when a new Wu-Tang Clan project comes out. I know its not going to equal the early years . Simply skip or dont include any tracks im not feeling. The Generals are in they late 40's early 50's and still putting projects out for the fans. Im in keep em coming.

I think I went about 7 years straight where I listened to one of the Wu-Tang Forever disks from front to bank, every single day

but yeah even if you take all of their group and solo work from 2000 to now its still a strong ass discography. stronger than most.

That's some real palpable indignation there, sun. I appreciate your passion.

i was personally incorporating solo wu tang records but i guess noel only mentioned group discography, so i'll change my stance and say they have a kinda shitty record. but the magnitude of greatness of 36 chambers/ Forever/ The W is far greater than the shittiness of the rest of the group albums, if that makes sense. so its not all too bad

interesting thought.I probably still listen to them but doubt they would have had the impact they did on me as a eastcoast hip hop fan.

If anything, I would have thought those last 3 albums would sound even better because the style and sound would be fresh and you wouldn't be comparing them to the game changing albums that came before.

Was playing ABT earlier, some songs got skipped immediately but a lot of it I enjoyed. Hadn't heard it for a year or two.

Being that Iron Flag is more up-tempo, street, and lyrically superior to the "W," I'd still listen.

It’s stupid to say “if they started from iron flag” because the 8 or so years previous creates the dysfunction that was the album and if that was their first record then it would have at least been done better. They released back to back classics and a real quality 8/10 record in their first 3 releases so all that other experimental shit that came in their 40’s is borderline irrelevant. But then those 3 albums might be seen as great albums because of the time they were released because most wu fans are stuck in a time warp and just want 1993 on repeat forever so they hate those 3
