Cameras were pretty cheap back then. Only sixty dollars. If Masta Killa broke his camera now, he would probably have to use a few months rent to pay back for these expensive ass cameras today. Whoever made those drawings clearly had no idea of Wu Tang Clan and drew them the best they could based upon their names. Those drawings were probably drawn under Mega Man circumstances.

When the original Mega Man was released in December 1987, it was due to be shipped out the next day, but they still did not have any cover artwork for it, so one of the people working on the game commissioned an artist friend of his to draw something. So he described the game to him as best he could and his friend drew the game box artwork off of that. He drew it in six hours because the game had to ship out the next day, but still had no art. So that is basically why the Mega Man art is so bad and was believed to be why the first Mega Man game sold so poorly.
