From 94-99 Bad Boy killed, whether in Rap or R&B. I think after The LOX left and Ma$e's 2nd LP flopped they were kind of done. They had some cool shit like Black Rob and Shyne but at that point Puffy was a mogul and didn't really give a shit anymore.
Actually that Craig Mack LP was a dud except Flava In Ya Ear, Puff fucked him over with that one. Now I think Puff just has French Montana on Bad Boy and thats it, thats a hell of a fall off.
I agree, that was when I started listen to hip hop as a whole and my dad bought No Way Out. That shit is a classic, they had a crazy run.
Yeah No Way out is as classic as it gets...

I used to throw on No Way Out when I was about to do the nasty with Francesca from Milan back when I lived in Germany as a foreign exchange student. Great album, even better times.
We'd throw on some Zucchero too to get thangs going. All yall non eye-talians google him.
Shit was popping in the nineties damn.
I can't believe she married a fat ambulance driver back in Milan hahaha.
Btw Victory is a top 3 Biggie verse in my book. Thank God he wrote Puffy's verse too.
