haha yeah that's Prince Paul for you.. it's definitely one of the weirdest names of all time but at the same time when you combine it with the album art and the concept and everything it's pretty damn hilarious. his latest group is called something like Niggaz on Ice lol.

I have a very strong feeling that these ppls visibility isn't accidental. The palehorse in me doesn't see where it adds up. Not that they're wack (and they are), but they literally don't sell records, consistently flop even when streams are factored and have tiny, underground artist sized shows at the peak of their 'fame'. They most definitely can't do anything overseas. Then there's the fact that there's no record of any of their rise in an organic way. You would think there would be years of back videos being that Youtube has been a thing for half of these guys lives, but nothing. Just a debut that's all over the place.

I personally think pharma is paying decision makers at labels to put these guys forward. Nothing new, Tobacco funded Lucille Ball's life, and designer brands became billion dollar entities once rappers started talking about them (mid-late 90s). I don't think they're paying the whole label, but one or two button pushers getting some type of outside advance, being told who to sign.

I don't think the rappers are 'in on it' but they definitely target the stupidest bastard alive, then relay to the label to put them on. Then hip hop media, being stupid, feeds into it and does 2000 stories on the individual ruining hip hop which makes them more famous. It's weird that one after another, artist with on market value get this huge push, flop, get dropped then replaced by one that looks exactly like them and raps about the same specific ass pills.

id bet theres a lot of truth to that too. the fact none of these artists gets anywhere, consistently, is really weird. you can catch local artists doing opening acts in literally any city in america with much more talent
