^i have always found him impossible to listen to. Prob the most annoying rapper I've ever heard. Absolutely cannot stand the sound of that guy.

i could only tolerate his first album, even with his annoying voice at least that album had some artistic merit. I haven't heard it in ages though and probably nothing is relatable anymore
About to give this a listen. Hopefully theres a few cool tracks, theres no chance of him recapturing his former glory.
Theres a handful of tracks I really like, as expected.
Most of it sounds like a therapy session set to generic 2017 Pop hits. I swear his producers use the same chord progression on every track.
He needs to go back to Slim Shady style, him rapping about loving his family and hating Donald Trump is intrinsically dull and non compelling subject matter. Its clear he can still rap, I just wish it was about something interesting and over better beats. I think he can still say something meaningful as Slim, albeit indirectly ('Framed' is a great example). I think hes explored every avenue of his real personal life and its tired as fuck.
can he still rap? I think he got so into wordplay that that's all he focused on. His flow, voice, delivery and subject matter = lame. I don't think 'Slim Shady' is possible without Dr. Dre. Ppl think it's drugs but really, any rapper that works with Dre isn't the same without him. Snoop, 50, Em, NWA. He literally tells them how to say what they're about to say etc. Snoop said it's one of the reasons it's hard to work with him but obviously he knows what he's doing more than the artists.
