Lol at experinced crew. Turn on the camera and rap. Nobody listen to just audio anymore. Worst his style of music makes it indigestible without something to differentiate one song from another. I like his songs but can only reference the ones with videos and by the faggy sequence of events as opposed to the song titles. He doesn't have chorus and does the same thing on every song.

All my opinion but someone in his early 20s can't be young and outdated at the same time. I understand you saying someone can't make 90 videos in your 30s cause we grew up on movie shit but my favorite song by him is him playing basketball with local snow shovelers.

you gotta take into account also that people who have ADD, like tsa, can't focus on one thing for very long. in general music videos haven't been popular in several years and very few are creative anymore, they are mostly the same crap.

So u think people will b able to differentiate his songs if he makes 90 videos just rapping into the camera? I think that'd make them significantly more DIFFICULT to differentiate.

I have no trouble differentiating between his songs at all. I can quote a thousand mister yo lines and tell u exactly what song they're from. You're speaking from a very, very simple minded perspective, and yes I couldn't agree more that the majority of people ARE extremely simple minded, but I don't really think mister yo is gonna appeal to simple minded people. Not for more than a week or two anyway.

oh. interesting. will take this into consideration.

but how well did Beyonce's Lemonade picture album do? also how shitty was it as well? also how well did Frank Ocean's Endless visual audio release only thing do? also how shitty was that?

how many videos were shot for Supreme Clientele? wtf kind of dope video could you even do with lyrics all over the place like that. how many videos were shot for Labor Days? 2016: how many videos were filmed for Blonde?

all this music video shit... ima be pissed once Bhad Bhabie drops her album and (if) she has all four of these "singles" that she has shot and released music videos for... thats 1/4 of a (short) album. weak. but shes got bars, an original sounding voice and better rhymes than ya boy Jaden Smith (although i do like how chill a lot of his stuff is but that is irrelevant). thats how kids move. thats how attention whores move. thats how people with limited material and no personal creative direction move.

i also find this hilarious. music videos are easy to shoot. movies aint. so nowadays you got a lot of artists coming out with their music videos and interjecting some sort of lame story into it, extending the beginning of the track out two minutes w/ bullshit, cutting the middle of the track for more nonsense as well, because they even know a simple music video doesnt do anything for them.

TSA, irl rarely anyone refers to my tracks by their names. that shit is irrelevant, but each track title still has a reason to be called what it was called. people refer to my tracks by the lyrics they like or the specific beat. im starting to wonder how and when and where you actually listen to music at.

part of me feels like Mr. Yo's dad knows magic tricks, has no sedentary home, and bonds with him by pulling quarters out of the back of ear when he's coming to ask deb for beer money, a couch for the night, or sex.

you like his music. the only way to keep it coming for him to try to be successful. Otherwise he'll stop when he gets hired at Jimmy Johns. That's the bottom line nigga this shit is about B R E A D. I can see him building a very strong cult following that can sustain him for life and encourage him to keep making music if he didn't have the chest of an 12 year old and social aptitude of someone in the background of a 1984 anti-drug video. How has listening to unambitious rappers panned out for you? Nigga gucci mane fans get a song a week, you're still waiting for Swift and Changeable.

It's not by force and nobody has to do anything that an digital nigerian on an eboard says but given the mechanics of the world post dial-up internet, he would need videos to actually penetrate past DMing Noel (you) after working on an album for a month or more. I'm not Mister Yo but the fact that he's personally message 7 ppl to listen to his music tells me he would like an audience. He can very well get an audience but it won't be possible if he doesn't have videos. Your songs are just you talking, and if a person can't remember which song you said something he liked because it's absolutely no different than your last 2 albums of you talking, what's the gain?

In order to keep from compromising your style, which is great, just make a video per song. If it's a lot of work then cool, whatever. Mister Yo strikes me as a nigga with a home phone, but once you get a cell just film yourself rapping. You shot a video of you playing basketball, and another one of you playing Yu Gi Oh. You already get it you're just stupid. Your rap style is great but it's not build for a purely audio platform. You've said tons of dope shit but I can honestly only go back to the video where you're playing basketball cause idk where to find the other ones. What sucks is the people that can rap have the aptitude and social awareness of a puckered butthole and the ones that can't rap will knock out 90 videos in a fucking month. Unless you want to tell lil b this shit doesn't work. You're too young for me to have to SAY this.

I'm also not reading your long post Mister Yo. Maybe I will later but not now

I'm all for mister yo making it, and I know thru convos I've had with him that he is too, and that he's making efforts and looking for ways to get his shit out there. I just don't necessarily agree with the whole video thing. I'm not vehemently opposed to it, but I know mister yo is a creative guy and music is his thing. You're not gonna get anywhere doing uninspired shit just for the sake of it, or as a duty. When you're making uncreative videos just to try to get listeners, then that's exactly what you're doing.

He's already said he doesn't have the backing/connections to make videos anymore. U can't expect him to make shitty videos by himself just for the sake of it. I really don't c how that's gonna get him anywhere.

haha. that was Magic the Gathering not Yu-Gi-Oh.

Lil B is kinda cool and all but ahhh has that motherfucker dropped a good album? also i dont think he dropped a single video for Black Ken.

i def wanna shoot more videos. BUT the answer aint dropping five music videos off every one of my albums. ideally i wanna drop one or two. one for hype and another one just cause. and after that people should (ideally) be interested in the music/album and then download it and listen to it whenever they want.

    whats so hard about that?

hahah and ah i cant even reply to every detail of your posts because you dont even read my full replies. so, cool.

Ok I read you poast lol. I hope you're not taking any of this in bad taste or as me being a dick btw, I dislike ppl interjecting into whatever i'm doing with their wack ass ideas so I get it if that's the case.

But yeah, ppl can't refer to it by name lol. There's no chorus and the format of the lyrics and delivery are the same on every song. So if ppl don't refer to it by name it's not cause that doesn't matter, it's cause they can't. Idk if you don't want to reveal your weight gain and potential Deb's orange jurice jiblet, or if you just don't feel comfortable on video. Maybe the workload doesn't mix with you life. You know your preferences better than anyone. I really think you can built a real strong following but they have to have visuals.

You're both dis-likable, kinda ugly, and talented. So people can fuck with you, then the other half of the earth will hate the fact that people fuck with you, and it will be particularly annoying to them cause you're actually good. So if you have an actual following of 100k, 200k will watch it just to hate and share it, and bring you more fans.

also, don't say nigga. I know you have 0 perspective but you'll get cancelled without remorse.

If you can find a way to make each song distinct from the other and do more than list random thoughts and google factoids, then yeah you can be an album rapper but why?
Your not going to be Kanye and Beyonce, you're creepy and have no charisma. Your also white, but you're white white and only jew whites can use their whiteness to be cool likw the beastie boys, mac miller and co. Just be the best creep possible (without molesting kids) as opposed to trying to be a mediocre something else (kanye west?).

You can make albums but that's not going to be your bread and butter with your style. You're like lil wanye. People want to say wayne has classic albums but he doesn't and can't. Wayne is about the things he says in his verses and how 'witty' they are, but is so good at that that he can't be a well rounded multi-dimensional rapper. You're also about the things you say on the songs. You can every now and then rap about your life, or make a song about something specific, or in a focused vibe, but nobody wants to hear about your bitch ass life ya know?

Unless your life is cracking, but what you're doing right now is cracking too so I say just put it in the format that suits it.

The thing with all this tho is that mister yo actually makes exceptionally good albums. Like it's actually what he's best at. And this is coming from somebody who only fucsx with albums and doesn't do individual songs or videos at all. If u can't make good albums then I have no interest in anything u do, (apart from if you're a great guitarist and better as a live performer). And yet I listen to mister yo more than I do any signed rapper. And why? Cos he makes great albums.

As much as a dig his style in itself, I would'nt fux wit' him if he didn't make good albums, cos I'd b making an exclusive exception for him by doing that.

Perfect example is that I don't listen to his compilation album at all, of bits n pieces he's done, even tho it's all good tracks. I listened to a fair bit at first and then like all other compilations it went to the music graveyard.

And the reason he makes good albums is cos that's what he wants to do. You're asking him to compromise that for (potential) money. Each to their own, but fuck that shit.

Mister yo is driven by pussy anyway. Not money.
