^ Antman Wonder this time, possibly Madlib next time. Its a smart move to find artists that are into Hip Hop to sample.

DJ Premier is killing it these days, with Prhyme and Torri Wolf its like hes turned a corner, he was pretty stagnant for a while there but hes evolved his sound and range in the last few years, its good to hear. 'Era' is fantastic.

I dig it. Took some getting used to and it's a bit heavy on the keep hiphop alive tip but that's also what makes it so good.

I hope the replay value's good.

PRhyme 1 and 2 could've been so much more if Premier just made beats his usual way. This whole sampling one artist for a whole album isn't working out. The beats aren't trash but for Premier's standards they're pretty damn average. Royce kills it though. What the people really want are albums with joints like Hip Hop, Ding, Boom etc.

See that's where I disagree. I like that these are not the "normal" Premier beats. I know I am in the minority on this but I find "regular" Premier a little repetitive sometimes. I am not saying all the time but just in general. So I definitely like this theme. Peace

I love 90´s Preemo beats, but that formula over and over gets really really boring, and also some of their post-2000 beats lack soul IMO, some are nice tho.
