On Red Gone Wild there was a handful of tracks I liked and then a lot of really forgettable material. Malpractise was good but definitely too long.
Only absolute garbage Redman has ever made was "Reggie". Other than that, his albums are at least bangers. I consider Dare iz a Darkside, Muddy Waters and Blackout classics. It's good to hear he is working with E. Sermon on Muddy Waters Too. Hopefully we get some gritty shit, weed smoke and all that good stuff and not some lazy unimaginative attempt to get radio play. In the 90s I thought that Redman had a good ear for beats, but 2000s proved otherwise. There are some gems on Red Gone Wild, I think it's somewhat slept-on.
your opinion, doesnt mean shit tho. only to you.
soul controller might have autism or something. Maybe if he was 15 his online persona would make sense. But hes a grown man with kids and he chooses to come on here and disagree with everybody like his word is the last word on any subject. He might say hes "trolling" but what does that mean? hes just a contradiction machine with no insight or humor to anything he says. How can you behave like an asshole all the time and somehow not be an asshole? Its not possible, unless you have real world mental problems.
lol, sorry i offended your love for ugods album
my bad.. redman has the worst beats, all wu albums are better than redmans albums.
lol, i dont think ive heard it.. but mudface was pretty tight.. tight as in.. it got more spins from me than any other new wu album in the last 8 years..
but i ai nt heard it for at least a year if not 18 months,, so its not amazing replay value.. mainly due ot the lyrics for me.. need to be more conscious..
this is the album ive had on repeat longer than any other
Yeah, Reggie was his worst. I liked Red Gone Wild though. Sativa shit.
Apparently Muddy Waters 2 is dropping this summer... not holding my breath.
Red still got bars. The beat is like an updated 80s ol skool sound. Good. I wouldn't be able to stomach a whole albums with beats like that though, would get repetitive real fast.
Agree w/ b-dolo on Erick Sermon for production. I hope Murray & Mef make the album too.
He should probably keep the album short. Not a 70 minute affair.
I'd like to see Red & Busta on a track btw.
Retired.
