They have not made an album better than The W.
I agree with the ones of you who think The W and 8 Diagrams are more listenable than Wu Forever nowadays. Does that mean Wu Forever stopped being a classic?
Okay, so I refreshed that album and went through it 3 times and I gotta say it's way better than ABT (obviously), better than Iron Flag, even though on Iron Flag some generals were younger and sounded more, I'd say" hunger than on 8 Diagrams. TSA wrote that "The beats are flat, redundant, uninspired, amateur and marginally rhythmic, the mixing is inconsistent". WTF man. No Wu-Tang album was so well-mixed and arranged than 8 Diagrams. RZA perfectly combined the old Wu sound ("Weak Spot", "Campfire") with some new sounds plus the orchestral music and guitar solos make the beats dope.
Of course 8 Diagrams could've been better but so have Wu-Tang Forever and every other Wu albums.
