That intro is attached to the end of Wu Revolution on the cd.
That’s how the lp should have started. Great sample to start shit off with. Mistake to attach it at the end of wu revolution. I never listen to that shit
This.
I cut the movie sample and pasted it before reunited. It’s very dope like this.
Wu revolution was a mistake. I remember some reviews about the album and they talked about the bad beginning of the album with wu revolution.
Idk man. I think wu revolution is a classic. It really sets the tone for the album being like wus public enemy - it takes a nation, and by being designed that way to set it off (would not have work d anywhere else on album), reunited crashes 2x as hard. We waited in anticipation and rza milked it even more and had us RABENOUS for reu ited. Doubl lp. World excited and those strings. Flawless victory imo but people didnt wanna hesr something differrnt. They should kno wu makes movies not music albums to dance to.
This is like popa wus final talk for the wu so it needed to be big and i always loved his talks on rae n ghosts albums. Uncle pete and tekitha are a nice pairing. They say some dope lyrics and pete throws mad PASSION into it which MAKES it to me. The intro is as well structured as it can get. Its funny to me befause as i was literally saying “ok.. this needs to end now and uncle pete n tekitha take over on the song and it reginited all over again. The end of the song works with the kung funsample
Really well. When that chime or whatever goes off before the first string... you get chills down ya back
“The knowledge will spread...”
You know you about to hear one of the greatest albums of all times in any music. Wutang forever is the deepest and most lyrical album in hiphop imo.
After a 6 min song is guess rza felt itd be bad to start reunited with another intro but its crazy dope and is like that on my copy.

i always loved wu revolution exactly how it is too. the beat is crazy, and if that kung fu intro was on Reunited I would get tired of it quickly and skip to the start of the song
They're talking some many pro-black / 5% Nation bullshit on Wu-Revolution that it may be hard to listen for an average rap fan but I think I've kind of gotten used to it and don't even listen to the lyrics any more.
"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)
This is such a nasty beat, that violin is insane!
You know what? I actually prefer the intro with Reunited better fits the mood perfectly.

Wu-Revolution was to long. I just wanted to get to the song quickly.
I feel the same way about Kick In The Door. I hate having to skip through a skit to get to a song. In general, I think skits should be on the end of a song. If I want to listen to the skit, I will just search until I get to it.
