Album is weak to me. No offense to Ghost. I only liked the song with Planet asia. Lets hope he moves on from this and gets back to putting out SC2 and possibly 12 reasons 3.

    Sampler sounds dope though
Exactly. The title “Lost Tapes” would imply that these songs are unreleased material that never made it to his other albums (example: Nas “Lost Tapes” album). A proper Lost Tapes album from Ghost should include unreleased material from Ironman, Supreme Clientele, Bulletproof Wallets, ect as well as unreleased songs intended for sountracks, B-sides, remixes, ect.

Listened through once. 3 bangers: Majestic Accolades, Done it Again, Watch 'Em Holla.

It's pretty well produced - but there's just no hiding from the fact that this project looks and feels like an album where M-80 (or whoever) just bought 9 verses from Ghost. Then bought a bunch of other features and assembled it like a collage. Add in the fact that Ghost maybe/probably didn't even write those verses....

I'd be surprised if Ghost has even heard this album! Has he mentioned it in any social media/interviews? Same as his last few projects... just other people buying the rights to use the Ghostface name.

it's a shame this is what it's come to. Buy hey - it is what it is.

I'll give it a few more spins.

Same here. 3 standout tracks. Buckingham Palace, Majestic Accolades and Cold Crush. Three in a row so easy to skip the rest.

Not really digging Ghost's choruses these days. That doesn't help with this mixtape.

Will give it a few more spins but this won't be in rotation for long.

Ghost knows about it, he signed a bunch of merchandise for the album for M80. Posters I think

this album is frustrating. sonically its pretty damn good, I don't think theres a single BAD beat on here. but all of GFK verses are subpar, and there's more features than actual ghost verses. If the clan got on all these beats it would probably be one of the better releases in years. like yall mentioned there is 3-4 real dope cuts that are worth keeping in rotation though, and I guess in this day and age I'll take it. This album had better potential though.

I agree with everyone about ghost sounding lazy/sleepy on this. He's hard to listen to for me lately.

    Highlights for me are

Watch em holla (prob my favorite track on here)
Buckingham Palace (specifically Crooked I's verse)
Majestic accolades (the beat and planet asia's verse are fire here)

    Otherwise pretty meh imo

yep a very forgettable release. GFK is outshined by most of the features. Couldnt have given us 1 real solo track ?! WTF!! This really should have been called "GFK Features M80 fav Mc's "
by next week im done listening to this release.

    feeling these tracks :
    SAW A GHOST
MAJESTIC ACCOLADES " all i hear is Genius on this beat "
    CONSTANT STRUGGLE
    WATCH EM HOLLA

\\production isn't bad though not a single risk is taken which is the opposite of a ghostface album. Ghost's verses are lame. Idk if it's being a legend but someone nobody needs to be telling these tenured rappers 'hey that verse wasn't it'.

These wutang guys also have to start being mindful of their health. They're old now. Gza and ghost both sound like they're underwater and it's built up phlegm from eating bullshit and not exercising, possibly smoking or being around too much smoke. Especially Gza.

this nigga ghost said 'throw frosting on the cakie' AHAHAHAHhaAHAHah, I think he does better when there's a subject to approach or scene to paint on this project.
