Peace, Its been awhile since I've logged in. I browse every now and then to check for Wu releases, but always dry.
The Wu isn't focused on making albums anymore. It's all about making that retirement money from tours.I can respect that. They are very old.
Making music is expensive and making an income through streaming is not easy when no one is checking for you and you are not global. Let's face it, the Wu is not relevant in todays game. Rae, Ghost and Deck are still hanging in there, but the rest of them are just not making culture relevant music anymore, and I am not referring to mainstream. Roc Marciano is my current favorite rapper in the game and yes I have paid $30 for both his albums because he is making amazing and relevant music.
In conclusion, there isn't much to talk about nowadays. I love the Wu and always will. They are the reason I started to listen to Rap, and all of their classics will always be close to my soul, but sadly its over for the Wu, unless they make a final run. Till then,
