Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
In terms of his discography, I'd say the 'weakest' album is Marci Beaucoup. It's still a great effort but imo it falls a bit short of his other albums.
So dope. Roc never disappoints me. The cut with Black Thought is nasty, as is the one with Busta.
Will definitely give it some more listens.
The joint with Busta is a RZA influenced one - Roc even mentions Liquid Swords in it.
does anyone know where this sample is from?
Physical available on Fat Beats site. Peace
Hope Ghost hit him up for some beats for the new Wu album

^ Thats cool but I feel like its a lazy day, outdoorsy track. I was walking through the park when I realized how cool it is. The whole album is great, its one of those where every time I play it I have a new favorite track.
Album is still in my car. Not a big fan of the “Sampson” track but we r splitting hairs. Peace
