I think I might be kidding myself trying to get into new shit. I listened to a few snippets of the Pusha T record and it sounded awful to me, lolz. Then I saw he fux wit' Kane West, so that kinda explained that, lolz. I'm gonna try the Westside Gunn thing though. I got that Conway thing last year and thought it was pretty good, but yeah, still didn't stick with it or anything. Who are those guys? They're obviously affiliated. Grimey stuff.

I dl'ed the Roc Marciano, Muggs, and Cypress Hill joints too, even though I don't think anyone mentioned Cypress, lolz.

Listened to those 4 tapes and enjoyed them all. Westside Gunn I wasn't too big on as a wrapper, generally preferred the guests. But dope production n good listen all in all.

There were some serious bangaz on the Cypress album. Will give 'em all more listens.

if your counting pusha t's 7 track EP as an ALBUM

    Kanye's was better.

but i will agree with the west side gunn album Supreme Blientile it was worthy of the list if you enjoy rap, and if you like Roc i dont see why you wouldnt like that tape.

Tekashi69 dropped Day69 this year and that shit BANGS hard. when your in the mood for it.

and ahhh this is a good year for rap? lol

this is some underground shit my boy put me on and it is killer

And I was gonna say Hus KingPin - Cocaine Beach, but that was 2017.

Honourable mention for Black Thought - Streams of Thought vol. 1, because that was only like 17 minutes long.
Because Cocaine Beach was from 2017 I'll put Nipsey Hussle - Victory Lap in my top 3.

Biggest let down was YG. Dude went from dropping 2 gangster albums to some wannabe pop shit. I think that's the overall consensus as well.
