I did, its bad. You'll actually feel embarrassed watching it, because presumably only small children and adult retards actually enjoy this kind of childish trash. This and the new Predator film are shockingly bad.

The cinema model is already living on borrowed time, but they're hastening their own demise by churning out absolute rubbish like this.

I have 0 clue how someone can make a bad venom movie. It's literally a given that a Venom movie would be good because the concept alone sells its self. I haven't watched it but I heard it was trash and the consensus seems universal. How do you have that kind of budget and make a story people want to watch with enough money to afford any writer, actor or special effect ever made.

i didnt think it was that bad. it seems critic reviews have been way more harsh than consumer reviews.
it wasnt great by any means but i didnt feel cheated out of my $12 movie ticket.
i grew up on seeing venom in the spiderman cartoon so obviously it couldve been way better if they had the two together, but maybe theyre trying to build up to that

Agreed. It was a decent intro story. The sequel will need to be a lot darker tho.

One of my boys is a big Marvel guy n he said it was terrible. I am not into the comics stuff too much but I do love me some Tom Hardy so I will check it when it comes to VHS. Peace

VHS? They stopped producing movies on VHS in 2006. I watched Black Nerd Comedy's review and he made the Eddie Brock/symbiote dynamic seem likeable. May check it this weekend

I think the critics just expected a lot more and I can't blame them.

I was disappointed that it was not rated R, that needs to be rectified for the next movie, with tons of hyper violence.

at the very least we know there will be a better villain in the next movie (Woody Harrelson - Carnage)

It was bloody awful. They just got the character wrong. In a time where they nailed Deadpool they should have taken note and gotten Venom right. They messed up.

the current version of spider man (tom holland version) will never be in Venom, Sony keep saying it may happen, but Marvel and Disney have said it will never happen... Sony are just making all the spider-verse movies; as they think Disney will pay them mega bucks(for the shitty spider verse studio) as they did with fox.

Venom was ok.. bit to childish for me.. i wanna see the real Venom origins... where the symbiode (trade mark sony pictures, not symbiote as its always been)
attachs itself to Deadpool, When Deadpool uses a vending machine.. then leaves him cos his mind is so fucked up (classic comic book story)

least Morpheus will be better... hopefully Sony wont rape all the Spider-verse movies..

Woody Harrelson seems like a good choice. I think Dennis Leary would have been a good choice also..
