I loved every single second of this series, and I agree with many that I wish it was longer. I know this was about the Clan itself, but there are so many things I'd love to know baout the extended Wu fam as well. I really wish they touched briefly on Shyhiem and Killah Priest. Regardless, this was classy and gripping. Loved how wack Cilvaringz is, beyond corny.

this was really dope. there should have been more episodes though, and too much time was given to OUATIS shit. Mathematics sketch book was dope to see. Also made me go through all the albums again.

I agree, I would rather see more divine, The W album, the Wu Logo and the impact the wu had when the west coast was dominating.
And why the heck redman and busta rhymes wasn't interviewed or seen.

Watching the clan completely destroy the owner of our forum and basically repeat what i said word for word was a great time. Sorry i wont be sonned and exposed by my mentors on a big documentary anytime soon.

    Poor me.... Or poor you?

Why noone else is mentioning it is the weird part of it all.

I wish i could go back and reread the lies but im sure they all wiped by now.

watching and rewatching the series made me realize just how much RZA single handedly kept Wu-Tang alive. Like after 1997 and after every member left wu tang productions, i think he wanted to make Wu Tang even bigger almost out of spite and bitterness. Even made a comment about how Wu is more valuable than ever today. He brought it to Hollywood and TV, and I think that's the reason for cosigning OATIS. I wouldnt doubt if deep down he understands the fakeness of the album but cant admit it, but when you see how hurt he was from the clan leaving it makes sense and I almost can't blame him. I think his whole drive after '97 was to cement Wu's name in pop culture and history as much as possible

OATIS is as fake a Wu-Tang Clan album as Killarmy and Sunz Of Man are fake Wu-Tang affiliates

that doesnt make sense whatsoever, but I actually know the history of oatis being made, so I'm not going to waste my time debating.
8 out of 9 actual living Wu-Tang members would agree with me.

I'll give you this much though: Yes, legally it is called a Wu-Tang album solely because RZA owns the brand. The other members could not sign on or off on it since none are under Wu-Tang productions anymore. I'm assuming this is your argument which is black and white and undeniable. In the same vein the affiliates were legal entities under Wu-Tang productions.
Technically, RZA could sign 8 new rappers off the street tomorrow and call them Wu-Tang members and make an album under the Wu-Tang name. That doesn't mean shit. It's legal jargon on a piece of paper.

Wu-Tang the music group, aka the 9 or 10 human beings that make up the collective that are not a legal entity themselves, did not make this album however. They didn't collaborate under the guise of building a clan album. An outsider made a compilation album of their verses without their knowledge. This is why it's fake.

you know what they say about sticking feathers in your butt doesn't make you a chicken. Signing a piece of legal paper that calls it a Wu-Tang album doesn't make it a real group album.

Im referring to what U-God said about Killarmy and Sunz Of Man's affiliation to Wu yesterday and months ago on a radiostation. While according to him they aint Wu-Tang affiliated, the contrary would be said by Meth. Two generals, two different opinions on something quite remarkably significant when it comes to the brand. Flip that over to OUATIS, and you'll tell ne what you said above. Here's the difference though, the same dudes that are screaming murder now, were the same dudes that co-signed that album as a Clan album for over a year. Now tell me that's not true. Your question should be, what in the fuck happened after that year passed that made those same dudes suddenly switch up their tune.

I think what Ringz is trying to say is the Clan is making him look like the bad guy. Who’s story is accurate? Who gives a sh!t at this point. Ringz u should just sell copies of the album on here and piss them off more. Peace
