Default Czarface x ghostface killah - mongolian beef

New shit from Ghost and Deck

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

Meh. Sounds like a bunch of nursery rhymes. Maybe in the context of an album it'll work.

Listening to the album now. I'm not into some of these beats but some of the tracks work quite well, I didn't even mind Eso this time. I guess if you already like Czarfaces beats you'll dig the whole thing. Ghost definitely adds a few highlights.

I think Esoteric has really improved over the years

Apple Music have completely messed up the tracklist/play order - so can't give my full verdict til I've heard the project properly, but Ghost sounds great on this (he's only on 7 tracks).

Czarface beats are very samey across all 5 albums, but hey - they have a solid discography now.

I wasn't feeling this album at all. It's not terrible. It's just not for me. I give them props for sticking to a consistent sound though. Czarface fans should love this. The lyrics are tight. I just can't get behind any of the beats. At the end of the day, beats matter to me the most.

I had a feeling Ghost wasn’t gonna have like 12 verses on this. That’s what they did with Doom as well. But hey not complaining. I know people are 50-50 on the Czarface stuff but I think this is best thing to happen to Deck. Get a quality album basically once a year. They sell mad merch too. What was Deck’s other option? Manifesto 2? So keep it coming I say. Peace

I'm not hating this at all. I never have their albums on replay for long but they're worth a couple spins.

This is fire. I’d say it’s the 3rd best album behind the second and the first. Beats are experimental but still slamming. Deck, Ghost, and Eso bring the heat. All 3 came correct. Cannot be denied.

    Been on repeat since midnight.

Besides the intro & Post Credits this has GFK on 7/10 songs so that’s fine with me
