Star Wars 9 Trailer (2019)

The Emperor returns. He was always my favorite part of Star Wars. I really like Force Awakens but the last one was shit, it would have been good if they cut out the useless subplot that I can't even remember to describe it.

So basically the last movie was all about 'forget about Luke Skywalker, Solo and the old characters'. This one they show the Death Star and bring back the emperor. Then the name is 'rise of Skywalker'.

I guess they thought 'fuck continuity' and want to make amends. Like why couldn't they do a movie where we see Han and Lando together? Would it have been difficult if we actually saw Luke as a proper master Jedi ripping shit to pieces. Like the last scene of the Last Jedi, I really thought 'oh shit he is gonna fuck shit up' but no it was a ghost. They fucked up and this trailer is kinda an acknowledgement of that.

Yeah they got JJ Abrams back to direct this one after 8 fucked up, he knows how to make these big franchise movies and keep them true.

I thought the stuff with Luke and Rey in the last film was dope even if Luke died in the end. Overall they definitely screwed up 8 though, introducing a bunch of characters that nobody cares about, and not keeping a consistent tone to the other movies.

I liked The Last Jedi (apart from the Finn/chinese girl subplot), cause it was nothing I expected it to be. The moment Luke threw away his lightsaber I knew we were in for a ride and I wasn't mistaken. Looking forward to the new 1 of course.

Fair enough. I watched through all that had been released a few years ago and the only prequel that was really bad was Attack Of The Clones.

I thought they did a good job with Force Awakens and yeah Rogue One is mad underrated. Grittiest movie in the whole saga. I haven't seen 'Solo' yet, never even heard about any reviews or anything.

i absolutely love solo, i don’t get the hate for that movie, it was one of the better Star Wars offshoots in my opinion, i really hope it becomes a whole franchise in itself, very very underrated

One more thing tho , my only issue with solo was that the villain was under utilized , such a dope character who was wasted in my opinion, but the whole dart maul involvement had my mouth watering for sure
