The issue is that he and Rza are literal criminals and didn't undergo any sort of orientation change as far as money and relationships before making millions of dollars. Though it's pretty clear that the orientation change has finally happened. I don't fault them because they're who they need to be to survive what they survived and their mentality brought them a lot of success. They were millionaires in their 20s and I personally know if the same would have happened to me I would have been a total ball of cum too.
But Divine is one of many people that think business is about money and not relationships, and there's a density of them in entertainment because entertainment is about people that can't do something making money off someone that can do something. I think most of their gripes were probably out of the ignorance of the other group members. I've heard of them questioning why Rza gets half of the album money, which is standard and fair because he did half of the work and made the music. I also think they were faulting Rza for their own mistakes like a bad work ethic and a poor understanding of their position as stars. I can also tell that Rza and Divine generally don't know how to relate with people. Rza is literally just an output and Divine can't put business and relationships in context.
I think it dawned on Rza that he was fucking up when Dirty wanted to leave.
That being said, Rza has yet to win a court case so it's clear that he was robbing them. Whenever he's in the room they're all a little awkward, except Chef who genuinely doesn't like that nigga and likes antagonizing the fuck out of him.
