I did see a very recent pic of Divine hanging and laughin with the generals though. And Divine was the one that revealed the Wu-Tang District street sign. Maybe they squashed the beef then.
The issue is that he and Rza are literal criminals and didn't undergo any sort of orientation change as far as money and relationships before making millions of dollars. Though it's pretty clear that the orientation change has finally happened. I don't fault them because they're who they need to be to survive what they survived and their mentality brought them a lot of success. They were millionaires in their 20s and I personally know if the same would have happened to me I would have been a total ball of cum too.

But Divine is one of many people that think business is about money and not relationships, and there's a density of them in entertainment because entertainment is about people that can't do something making money off someone that can do something. I think most of their gripes were probably out of the ignorance of the other group members. I've heard of them questioning why Rza gets half of the album money, which is standard and fair because he did half of the work and made the music. I also think they were faulting Rza for their own mistakes like a bad work ethic and a poor understanding of their position as stars. I can also tell that Rza and Divine generally don't know how to relate with people. Rza is literally just an output and Divine can't put business and relationships in context.

I think it dawned on Rza that he was fucking up when Dirty wanted to leave.

That being said, Rza has yet to win a court case so it's clear that he was robbing them. Whenever he's in the room they're all a little awkward, except Chef who genuinely doesn't like that nigga and likes antagonizing the fuck out of him.

Oh a great documentary. Really good. Humanized everyone which I'm surprised was still possible given that they've been very introspective and personal in their work for so long. Lol at Masta Killa being related to Nat Turner. I can see Nat Turner. I can see Nat talking to the slaves like this before they decided to off white people

13x didn't 'come up' with the teachings, he brought them from the Nation of Islam to regular people. The Nation it's self builds on a long tradition that goes back hundreds of years or slaves practicing Islam in secret as well as astrology and possibly free masonry.

Literally everything about the 10% are accurate. That's usually the spread of any and everything. Wutang are still 5% because the 5% are poor righteous teachers. Divine is def 10% though.

I said "or whoever". It doesn't matter who came up with it, I don't give any credibility to ridiculous baseless ideologies. As with all these ideologies, its appealing to believe in them because they make people feel better about themselves. And there's always a few nuggets of substance that give them some value to uneducated or morally bankrupt people. The real world is more complex, or possibly more simple than any global conspiracy theories or mystery gods that can never be proven.

I don't hate white people. Now the White Supremacists? Yes.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

TSA said I was literally a devil. I was replying to that.

I didn't "literally admit" to anything, I was just stating my general analysis of ideological beliefs. Which is why I didn't specifically say anything about 5%ers. I've read a little about them and there's some good parts and some bad, and I understand the context for it.

I just thought the percentages were amusing, because its almost invoking science but eh whatever.

After all, Ghostface went through his own little adventure with Def Jam. He learned how mainstream music works during those 5-6 years.

Btw, according the Divine's LinkedIn, he still runs Wu Fest Tours LLC, meaning that all money from touring is probably channeled through that company.

It is so very interesting that you said all that because everyrhing you touched upon are the exact same things that we teach ppl in regards to religion. Mystery Gods? That’s exactly what we are against. And we TEACH that there is no mystery God. We tell our ppl to look within to find God as opposed to what every other religion teaches (to look outside yourself and up in the sky somewhere). And yes the real world IS more complex than what any fairy tale teaching about God would imply. So u are basically saying the same exact thing that we teach .

Very good documentary, I also felt two more episodes would have been good. And it's a shame none of them actually understood or tolerate Wu Tang as a company earning money from their work and now they've got managers doing the same thing but their fine with it. Imagine where they would be if they stayed for all Wu Tang Releases and did their own thing on the side, that Wu money would have bought them mansions and schools.
Anyway, is it just me or does GZA seem very sad, or distant in his expressions? When he talks he seems fine, but seeing him in old footage and how lively he was and now just seems deflated. Hope he's ok. He might just be more quieter or always has been but had to put on a show back in the day. But he just has a sad, distant look. And I dont mean it as a diss, just an observation.

Oh and that moment in episode 4 where Theyre eating dinner together and Cappa makes that speech about nobody being intelligent or they'd save him as he's fucked up and it went really silent, nobody knew what to say and then he says something and they all cracked up. What did he say? I couldnt hear him properly, it had me laughing just off that arkward silence.I wonder what he meant? Was he fucked up from the wine or in life? Funny he had some food stuck on his cheek when he made that speech lol

Look, I know how they manipulated the edit of my parts which made me look uber corny (not to say there weren't any valid corny moments) and totally kept out the punchlines and proofs I had provided because it became obvious that the director and/or producer seemed more set on prolonging/setting drama rather than resolvement. I wouldn't be surprised if that Cappa scene was done in the same way. All you have to do is use footage of each member listening to any conversation, and then use those images over a particularly awkward or uncomfortable speech/moment, and voila! Then again, I wouldn't put it passed them if that shit DID actually happen like that.

I also said conspiracy theories, theres definitely an element of that in the 5%.

I'm not sure how many people who follow 5% truly believe all of it, but theres a lot of weird shit in there and I'm sure like any other belief there are people who take it on face value.

Actually it doesn't matter what it is. It could be religion, capitalism, communism, liberals or conservatives etc. A lot of people are willing to pledge allegiance to these ideologies at the expense of gaining a wider, more complex view on life.

This is just a generalization. I know these concepts can help people, they just also contain a lot of misinformation. Look at what RZA and Killah Priest say about religion these days, they just use the elements that are useful and don't buy into any one thing.
