Yeah RZA did Run and Kunta Fly Sh!t. Crazy that album is like 15 years old now that I think of it. And even crazier that Ghost hasn’t used RZA since. Peace

Pretty toney had some good songs. Wasn't a good album at all. Just a bunch of songs thrown together. Sad thing is it's the best ghost album I've heard since clientele.

I thought it was great and underrated. Every song is good except Tush, and had a nice feel. Biscuits is one of the best ghost tracks imo. Holla and Be This Way are up there too.

Biscuits is the best song he did after SC, without really thinking about it.

'Pretty Toney' suffered from a lot of tracks being cut from the album due to sample clearance issues. it's still a good album, but not on the level of his first 2 albums imo. I think Ghost had the right idea by going with soul samples and rapping over them (in a rawer way than say Diplomats productions) ; it would have been a more fully developed soul/rap album with more of the original tracks included.

Agree. The album isn’t as bad as a few of these guys are trying to make it seem. Y’all just like talking shit at this point. After a few listens I’d give it a solid 4/5. Pistol Smoke is wack though, that’s the only track I Skipped. Soursop is fine but he could’ve had a better track to end the album. Beats aren’t that bad either, but as I stated earlier if he could’ve sprinkled at least 4 different producers on here it would’ve have this a boost. But this is still a good body of work and his best since Apollo Kids. 4/5
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

man, I'm listening to Pretty Toney right now trying to figure out what some of you guys are talking about

dude said, 'WATCH HOW YOU POP YOUR GUM' smh.
I think it's a more focused project that BPW and Fishscale, but if someone says FS is better I understand.
