Default La the Darkman -- Polluted Wisdom

That track is so dope, I think it's one of the best LAD track he ever recorded and RZA's beat is crazy on this one but I never could understand what he said at the beginning

I know this chick named Gina drove a royal blue Beamer
Holding two chrome ninas fucking daily like [?]

The internet says it's "Nadina" but what the fuck he means by that?

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

    "Fucking daily like Adina"

Adina Howard 'Freak Like Me' reference. Very slutty song

HotC is such a great album, including production. Looking back at the producer lineup now, that's like the pinnacle of hip-hop. Ever to me. RZA, Havoc, Muggs, 4th...I'm not sure I can name any other albums without searching with that line-up

I really do not comprehend why La The Darkman does not just release Darkman II independently. His first album made him a millionaire many times over. It could do 30,000 albums and he still would be well off

^it really is a mystery. Maybe he fears failure too much

Come on, he's not gonna sell 30K. A Wu-Tang Clan LP would barely do the "equivalent" in streaming numbers.

Wasn't he supposed to be working on a sequel anyway though? Anyway the first one is a gem.

Yes, Darkman II has been completed for over fifteen years, he confirmed it to me when I emailed him on his website back in 2003. He said it would be out soon and you know how that goes with eagerly anticipated Wu Tang releases..
Same thing when I met Two On Da Road back in 2003, they told me that it was finished and coming soon, but of course, it never happened

He just stopped caring about releasing new album and went on to be a A&R, executive etc. He even wrote lyrics for 50 Cent and Vanilla Ice

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)
