Default Songs That Sound Like Wu-Tang But Aren't

CRU is a dope group, this is from their classic and only album. They did a bit of every 90s style on their album, Tribe style jazz-rap, Jiggy Puffy beats, R&B, hardcore Hip Hop, even G-Funk and they did all of it brilliantly. On this track they have a cinematic sample pitched up and Mighty Ha filling in for ODB (which he does on the rest of the album too).

Lol Tragedy and Imam Thug were definitely listening to Ironman that year. Dope song though. Actually a bunch of CNN & Trag's shit in the late 90s is eerily Wu sounding.

Diverse & Vast Aire, 2 Wu influenced rappers rhyming over a nice flip of that Charmels sample.

I'm gonna think of some more, but I'm sure there's tons to choose from. Add on some more shit that sounds like Wu-Tang but isn't.

I don't know who diverse is, but that jam with vast aire is dope as eff. Vintage vast. Has he done anything good in recent years? Was actually wondering about that the other day.

Jay-Z’s “Heaven” is the most Wu sounding song possibly ever in my opinion. Peace

Dirty 30 is an underappreciated treasure. One of hip hop's greatest one off albums. I was devastated when their second album Madagascar got shelved..

Yeah its a really dope album. They did everything right: varied and ingenious production, dope back and forth type raps, actual song concepts and stories that were well executed, fantastic guest features from Black Rob etc.

I think if anything I would have loved to have seen Yogi go on to other stuff, produce a solo LP for himself or somebody. He was actually a pretty fucking good rapper and his beats were insane, he had his own sound that was versatile and really unique. Instead his legacy is basically that one album and a handful of Bad Boy hits like 'Lets Get It' and 'Senorita'.
