this documentary has been very long in the making

    I don't think it's out

    website with latest trailer :http://www.risendocumentary.com/

    2016 interview on the documentary : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A43L-RlqM2I

I'm not on social media anymore, but back when I was, director Frank Meyer was very active on there. you might want to follow him to stay on top of the news. he definitely has (had?) a FB account. he's a musician too btw, he's in a rock band

    I did...

I can't imagine anybody other than the 20 people left on this forum watching it.

The first 20 minutes is basically Supreme bragging about how great he is.

It goes into a little history of Sunz of Man even back as far as Shabazz and 7th. it talks about their history with Wu.

Most of the interviews are with Prodigal Sunn, 60 Second Assassin and Razah's sister. There's a quick blurb or 2 from Rza, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, Timbo King, Killah Priest, Popa Wu and Fredro Starr.

The it gets into Razah and his medical condition. Shows him rehabbing. The last 30 minutes or so is about his relationship with Queen the Prophet and him trying to get back into rapping.

So you recommend it or it's only for Wu die-hard fans?

I wouldn’t recommend it to a non wu fan. The first 20 minutes or so is boring. It gets better after that.
