Good thread.
He seems to have done okay for himself as a producer. They can't all become big shots.
From Wikipedia: "In 2017, Sneed was assaulted by Moe Szyslak, after the assault failed Moe ran away from the police, which then pursued him, he was besieged in his bar where he committed suicide to avoid capture."
^ He was co-producer on a few Dre beats too around 1994. He did 'Natural Born Killaz' among others.
Maybe Beans gets some credit, but he should get way more. He was easily one of the best rappers of the 00s.
Check the Death Row section of his wiki page.
Pretty Ugly was always dope to me. He used to be signed to Stretch Armstrong's Spit Incorporated, then signed to Eric Ric Riggler Rhea and Jonathan Shecky Green Schecter's Game recordings. Last I heard about him, he moved to Los Angeles and I have not heard about him since then. He was super dope.
lmao
LOL at sneed getting beat by moe. Wouldn't have caught that.
awwww. Pittsburgh's own Sam Sneed. When Rza lived in Pittsburgh & Steubenville, him and Sneed were cool. Rza gave Sneed 10g's when he fell on hard times after death row to buy a drum machine.

Sam Sneed was in Rae's Ice Cream video.
Aint never noticed Sneed in the video. You just pulled some CJ shit congratulations.
N.I.
Bahaha. I didn’t stumble upon it. It’s mentioned in the article in the link I posted.
He would have sounded good working with wu-tang. Given his catalog he was a hit machine in his time. The music industry has a weird way or prioritizing politics and sentiment over the bottom line. I don't know how the guy that made Natural Born Killaz, and Heads Ringing is 'on hard times' and getting bullied at Death Row. Really stupid shit.

It was kind of Dr. Dre's M.O. of fucking over producers who did most of the best work he got credited for.
Mel-Man, another Pittsburgh guy, produced half of Dre's 2001 and Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP. Dre uses these guys up, his ego steals the credit, and he spits them out.
it looks like the only work Sneed ever did with the Wu was a Killah Priest track from The Offering feat. Hell Razah.
