I saw this film on opening night. I read the reviews prior to me viewing the film. I went in with a somewhat negative thought in my head based on what I've read online. My overall opinion on this film is relativity positive. Perhaps this is due to me not being a hardcore Star Wars fan. I enjoyed myself and so did other people in the theater.

I understand what people are stating regarding The Last Jedi. Different director with different ideas which totally messes up things for the triology. I thought The Last Jedi was ok. The Rise of Skywalker was a good way to end the franchise. JJ Abrams, producers, executives, and writers had to work with what they have. They had to end the franchise with a bang so why not have some fun? JJ Abrams is a good director and if they stuck with him, God knows have things would've turned out?

Good film overall.
