I hardly listen to albums properly these days. I tend to skim through albums and if I like it I listen again. The few full albums that have got a bit of play:

James Blake - Assume Form - Stunning electronic pop album with a bunch of sweet and life affirming songs.

FKA Twigs - Magdalene - Not a perfect album, but the stuff that's good is beautiful.

Caroline Polachek - Pang - Just started listening to this the other day, but already like it a lot. Great 80's style pop.

    Clairo - Immunity - Great 90's style Pop/R&B.

Solange - When I get home

This year was a weak album year, but this is a gem.

It's good mood music for sure. It almost could have just been an instrumental album, that's what it feels like even with the vocals.

Yeah, I'd would have prefered it as an instrumental album too.
