Default Eminem - Music To Be Murdered By (New LP)

    ^ Interesting song.

Still a talented rapper, but off first listen I'm not feeling a lot of the beats on this record. It's a lot of generic trap beats, and stuff that's trying too hard to be modern or poppy. Dre supposedly helped on production but imo you can't hear that. Royce Da 5'9 has 3 features. There are a handful of tracks I like.

According to Wikipedia, Alchemist produced Stepdad. About time he got an album placement.

^ Alchemist was also on the re-up album and did one of the few good tracks on revival.

Yeah, I remember those Alchemist joints. I do not remember Alchemist being on Revival though. You might be mixing him up with Scram Jones

^ You're right. I think he was miscredited when the album first came out for 'Framed' which is by Fredwreck but I forgot. Dope track anyway.

Going to cop the physical for this when it hits Target. He sounds pretty reinvigorated on the handful of tracks I heard

I see online people are pissed that Eminem dropped his album the same day that Mac Miller dropped his. I am certain Eminem did not do it to intentionally cock block his sales and it is not like it would have made a difference either way, if you drop anytime near when Eminem drops, you are going to get blown away. Only Slim Shady LP did not top Billboard 200 because TLC's Fan Mail dropped the same day as him and he was a new artist, otherwise he would have surpassed D.M.X. in chart debuts

This guy just doesn’t do it for me anymore. His voice is all over the place which may be my main beef. Sure there’s a handful of good tracks but I had my Eminem run and it ended 15 years ago. These days I rather listen to Royce or Everlast, which I woulda never predicted back then. Might be my age as well that influences me. Peace

Finally got a physical copy. Just skimming over it now, going to listen to it more intensely in the next few days, but seems okay so far upon the brief listens

I'm guessing that was years ago though.
