Issue with England is we have seen 50k cases daily for the past 5 days now. Some major hospitals in London have cancelled cancer surgeries for example. The infastructure just isn't designed to cope with soo many people needing oxygen. It's spreading so quickly now, I mean before in March-April when it hit it's original peak you really didn't know of many people who got Covid. Now though it's different. A shitload of people have caught it.
Yea I’ve know quite a few who have had it this fall/ winter. Didn’t know anyone last spring.

But the bigger question is, they had almost a full year to prep for an increase and they don’t have an emergency plan for a rush of hospitalizations?
