tbh I just came across this artist on a defunct DL page for female rappers (more artists here : https://vk.com/wall-64737702?own=1 ) and her name and album cover drew my attention

was she well known? never heard of her. A CeCe Penniston feature is pretty high profile imo

most of the time I feel like I know of 1% of the artists in hiphop and have heard 0.5% of all albums. well, at least I got 40 more years to go to explore the genre
