    Default Hiphop-TheGoldenEra blogspot

    http://hiphop-thegoldenera.blogspot.com/

this blog has great content. there's no DL links, but it's got what 95% of the usual DL spots don't have : content and an opinion

w/ reviews, vids, streams, scans of magazine articles, podcasts, mixtapes & demos. it's got nine years' worth of content

ever since I got wifi back home (last month) I've been dipping into this blog from time to time

I like how it takes you from one year in hiphop to a completely different one in two posts

yall got any other sites like this one I should check out?

of course there's also been https://hiphopgoldenage.com/for ages but it's not updated very frequently w/ editorials etc. still a great site to browse imo

last one I can think of w/ original content is http://www.hiphopisread.com/

95% of the hiphop (news) blogs look exactly the same

btw the podcasts from the blog in the OP are taken fromhttp://www.thetroyblog.com/

    @hotnikks :
EP 63 on there is a DOOM tribute that lasts for six hours

I see http://www.rapreviews.com/ FINALLY got a makeover. the previous design was pure 90s nostalgia. I was kinda attached to it. for years I religiously read the new batch of reviews every week (Tuesdays, was it?)

very well written reviews, a joy to read

I tried out as a reviewer there years ago but the vetting process was by a friendly Swiss guy on the site (Matt Jost I think) who was THOROUGH haha. after my 4th trial review (they never made it onto the site) I got sick (unrelated disease I mean) and gave up

I see Rapreviews has a YT channel now too : Mistah MegaManFan. I had no idea

https://www.youtube.com/user/mmf187 (games & hiphop, w/ interviews etc. conducted for Rapreviews)

goldmines of good hip hop here. THANKS!!!

Keep us updated. Keep posting links. great material.

If more people don't start posting here WuCorp is going to look like our blog.

I thought with the new documentary and tv series activity would pick up.

I thought so too, but the last time the site was down really hurt visitor and poster activity. now even regular wuchamber posters don't seem to be returning, unfortunately

maybe it would take a high profile release (group album or Meth / Rae / Ghost / RZA solo) to get some traction again on here

    Default UK hiphop site

the interview section of I Am Hip-Hop Magazine (based in London) has a bevy of interviews. most are of British rappers (and other artists) but there are some with US based artists too

    https://www.iamhiphopmagazine.com/interviews/

as an example I'm posting an interview w/ Blu & Exile, a convo that happened when they were touring Europe in January

    https://www.iamhiphopmagazine.com/interview-blu-exile-choosey-pistol-mcfly-talk-us-european-tour/

they have poetry and review sections (among others too)

interesting tidbit : this is not a commercial enterprise, but an initiative of a charitable youth led organization

this is their YT channel w/ interviews & such

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjQJ0wJ_PaWIGD5QBhoIvBA

they have a podcast too, called 'I AM HIPHOP PODCAST' (4 episodes so far). I haven't checked it out yet, though. I skimmed through the first few minutes of this one, looks like the site is more interesting than the podcast tbh
