Snoop is wack in 2020. I can find better emcees in back alleys.

Snoop ran out of fresh subject matter after his very first solo album imo but I still like his delivery. Some of his albums I find very enjoyable. He combines well with various Westcoast producers and with Pharrell too. Also by now he's tried many music genres, which keeps it interesting for himself and for people like me. I liked his reggae light album for example. I DLed his most recent albums (the last four or so) but I haven't given them a proper listen, more of a cursory listen. As I mentioned here before I used to have a Snoop Dogg fansite (not a forum) in the nineties. For an exam on narrative techniques / narrative perspectives and shift in projected audiences (part of my teacher studies) I once compared his 'Snoopafella' to Dana Dane's 'Cinderfella' and the fairytale source material.
