Nas is like rap golden child, but his albuns since the 90's are always with dull boring ass beats, that's why Mobb Deep will forever be my QueensBridge favorite rappers.

Most Nas albuns has no replay value for me apart from one or two tracks from each one.

Nas should link with the Griselda production team. Hit-Boy???? GTFOH!!!!

this was a great album. Jayz tried to spite him by dropping a song the same day but ppl caught on to the fact that he's been doing that for years and he generally came off as a weirdo.

good album. I became a durk fan off his feature alone. Best song other than the firm reunion. AZ is incredible and foxy sounds great.

Hit-Boy did a good job. It's more R&B/Soul oriented than Nas usually does, and more modern sounding too, but it works pretty well.

Nas is hinting at another record with a big producer coming soon.

He should do a whole album with Havoc or the soulful version of DJ Premier.

Give the album a 4/5. Best track is The cure loving that beat.

This thread fell off pretty quick. This album was weak to me. Probably 5 good songs on it. Hit-Boy and Nas are not the right combo. Nas is starting to fall into that Jada category as far as beat selection. Which makes no sense cuz u would think either of these 2 can get 12 tracks from like a Havoc, Alchemist or Premier no problem. Peace

This ended up winning grammy for best hip hop album of the year. Kinda feel as though ALC/Gibbs album was slightly better.

At least Nas finally has his Grammy, although people still feel that Either Illmatic, It Was Written or Stillmatic should have been Grammy winning albums. When he was working a lot with Salaam Remi, those were some of his best works also.
