Thread: Small free things/activities that boost your quality of life

Default Small free things/activities that boost your quality of life

What seriously heightens the quality of your life and comes for free or next to nothing?

When I had to cut down on work I rediscovered the joys of sleeping in a bit and especially of a slow breakfast. This really boosts my day and my morale.

Have some extra hot drinks, throw in an extra egg, some healthy desert, read the newspaper and listen to the radio, spend some quality time outside with the dog right after breakfast. Absolutely love it. During the week I get to do this on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I make it a rule not to plan any activities with anybody else during those mornings.

Anything that has seriously added to the quality of your life that comes for free?

Nothing special. But have some cold lager while playing retro video games with the volume turned down while listening to old school music or sports talk radio. Just completely cut off from everything.

Lol no I picked up this chipping net at a garage sale for like 5 bucks a few years back. Real balls. It’s definitely helped me around the greens.
I bought a 58 degree Titleist Vokey as a birthday present to myself after getting my first hole in one on my birthday this year.

I’m usually cheap about Getting new clubs but it was well worth the 170.

Mine sits atop an antique Henrendon dresser that definitely worth more than your entire bedroom set.

I’m happy to hear you finally got a power drill though.

    Big boy shit.

I've never understood the high mounted TV thing, why do you want to see TV from a funny angle? Eye level please.

I've been cooking a lot recently, trying out new recipes. That's satisfying. Still couldn't get the ratios right when I tried to make a cheesecake recently though.

in defense of that picture from google, its only a problem if you dont sleep like a fucking sarcophagus. If the person sleeps on their left its perfect. Of course nobody here would know the science of having their tv on the wall until the next trump check.

Dude, you post like you haven't been laid in a decade. Or heard any jokes from this century.
