Default RZA "The Cure" is coming!!

    https://hiphopdx.com/news/id.58758/t...album-the-cure

RZA DUG UP AN OLD LYRIC BOOK TO WORK ON LONG-AWAITED ALBUM 'THE CURE'

“All the things I’ve been through last year, the years before, all of the emotions that I never got a chance to sit down and distill and express, I can now,” he told Melber. “I even dug up some old books of lyrics. I always promised my fans an album called The Cure. And it kind of was like in the closet in this old big Tommy Hilfiger duffle bag.”

He added, “And then I go down to the beat machines and it’s like I’m playing with them. Everything is just– it’s kind of giving me a chance to be like a scientist in the lab again, and I appreciate that part of it.”

The old book of The Cure-lyrics found in an old Tommy Hilfiger duffle bag in the closet, the story itself sound already legendary. Haha. This pandemic might bring the best out of RZA.

I feel the exact same way as David Daniel Davis. I'd love to hear it but it may never be released or if it drops it'll turn out that it's no the real The Cure but RZA's old lyrics mixed with some new beats. I hope I'm wrong

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

If it does drop, the album probably flop.

Can’t believe it’s been 12 years since his last album.. He should drop ‘The Cure’.. The timing is perfect

i hope he will take old beats for the golden era. I think he recorded some tracks back in the days. He need to use it now.

99 Attributes To Allah was a track from The Cure. There were two other songs I forgot the titles of. Something with 'Sun...' Not Sunshower but something like that. Sunshower was a Cure track by the way, and it's these type of beats that were being made for The Cure. Bit more digital, but still with the crispy drums and RZA shifting between '97 RZArecta and Bobby Steels.

If RZA ever drops The Cure, it be those lyrics but not hopeful for him or his beats to sound like what a Cure from the 90s would've sounded like.

The Cure now would be some sort or Rza Hollywood kook album. It may have sounded ok back in the day but even then I'm not so sure?

Cilvaringz would know better but as far as I can remember the Cure was recorded in the 90s while Bronze was introduced to RZA by Cilva around 2002-2003 and the first track they made together was A day to God and "The Birth"

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)
