The FDA just approved Pfizer's vaccine. Medical professionals, the elderly, and people over 60 yrs old will be able to get vaccinated in weeks.

It’s nuts. And the politicians and media people have been placing the blame of this situation on “the people” because we don’t follow their rules.(at least over here).

Which is a lie, I see everyone masked up and really what else can you do?

They are the ones that made these insane decisions that led to these things, not us.

What Covid has done is expose how inept some governments are.

England came out of Lockdown 2 in early december, Covid cases stabilized a bit but now they have jumped back up, especially in London. The reason is they encouraged people to shop. London's streets, shopping centres were absolutely packed in the past 2 weeks. This weeks it's been madness in London as people are dong their crazy Christmas shopping. The Government encouraged this though. They wanted people to shop and well thats what they did. On top the day we came out of lockdown they announced they would start vaccinating people. This caused everyone to relax a little. Then they said "It would take until March-April to properly vaccinate a large chunk of the population".

They won't even close schools in London. They have this dumb tier system which doesn't mean anything. London will be tier 3 from Wednesday but like nothing changes. They fail to see that it's high school kids who are the ones mainly distributing the virus. Death numbers aren't that high anymore, Englands issue is hospitals. For the past 15 years they kept defunding the NHS and that's left the country low on facilities, doctors and nurses. A good chunk of nurses here are immigrants for example.
