Yeah.....that song was the beginning of the end for the Wu. In all fairness though, how do you top Forever? I mean the name says it all.

Very hard to top WTF. The W is better now with age, but still was a massive let down in 2000. Gravel Pit was them trying to get that crossover radio hit. Why though? That's not their steez.

Initially a letdown (how do you follow up a monument like Wu Forever?). How did it age? Didn't hear it for over 5, maybe 10 years now.

I feel the same way I did back then...it's a good album but not a classic. A few trash songs but there are some bangers on here

It's still a good album. It has some good songs, a super-dope introduction track (as all Wu-Tang albums), some classic songs like "Gravel Pit" or "Do You Really (Thang Thang)". The biggest problem of album was probably the fact that hip-hop had changed since the release of Wu-Tang Forever plus Wu Forever was a milestone (especially commercially) and it was hard to drop something equally dope. But it's still a great album and it's aged well

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

Good album. This album brings back good memories when I was a kid. BTNHResurrection and The W were neck and neck as I can recall. 2000 was a good year for music.

Lot of love for Redbull. That was one of my least favorites. The lyrics were good, but the beat was uninspiring.
This is a F'N Rza beat here
