The W 20th anniversary

LOVE this album! Not better than "36" or "Forever" but it's the last Clan album that had an "album" feel (imo). The crew seemed Voltron connected (perhaps due them live 2gether at a Wu mansion while recording). In addition, the music is arranged as a cohesive body w thematic sequencing thru skits and or song topics. Also, appreciated how the music vids were like a "mini movie" w the time travel elevator!

... Gun Will Go would have been dope as fuck as a radio single/video.. Such a wasted opportunity with that song..

BIG cosign! Really felt RZA did his thing on that one in terms of orchestrally arranged music more so than "Heart Gently..." IIRC RZA even did the guitar riff on "Gun a Go". Not only should that song have gotten more exposure but it lends itself well to vid treatment! Oh well...

PS this thread is about "The W" but "8 Diagrams turns 13 this Friday...
