    Cool Sherlock Holmes

right now I'm reading 'The sign of seven', a collection of 7 novellas. three stories in and I must stay the quality is good

afterwards I'll dive into the last part of James Lovegrove's Sherlock Holmes / Lovecraft mash up trilogy. I thought part one was good and part two was excellent. I'm sure part 3 will bring the goods too

can't get enough of Holmes. good thing authors are keeping all the characters alive, often with very good plots

The sign of seven : 8/10. One excellent novella, 4 good to really good, 2 just solid. I had expected more from the James Lovegrove story. I'm gonna read the last part of his trilogy (the other book mentioned in the OP) now

That last part of The Cthulhu Casebooks (Holmes vs Cthulhu) is entertaining so far. It is set in Eastbourne and the closeby harbor town of Newport during Holmes' retirement. This book takes some cues from 'The Shadow over Innsmouth'. You are right into the action on page 2. Good stuff.

This part is called 'Sherlock Holmes and the Sussex Sea-Devils'
