That's crazy. Imagine all the dope music from the 90s that might still just sitting, waiting for somebody to unleash it. I mean besides all the Wu tapes that got fucked up, there's gotta be OutKast records that never saw the light of day, Nas, maybe Biggie stuff, Tribe etc.

The unreleased album trend has to start given how much people dig the 90s these days.

I wouldn’t get too excited. The 90’s was high caliber for rap music, so if it wasn’t released then there’s probably a good reason for that.

If it was high caliber then why wouldn't some of the unreleased stuff be good. Not every track doesn't make the cut because it's poor quality, there are other reasons.

There are a few leaked OutKast songs that are dope, and albums worth of Mobb stuff and demos that dropped years later that are fire.

Songs that couldn't get a sample cleared come to mind as other reason song wasn't released.

Yeah sample clearance, having a similar song already on an album or alternate versions, dumb beefs like the Foxy-Kim thing, tapes getting lost or damaged etc.

Plus even when it is a quality issue, artists often aren't the best judge of their own music.
