Default Fear, Love & War was suppose to be an 9th Prince solo album

    Never knew...

"This album was originally suppose to had been a 9thprince debut solo album.

I can still remember the day RZA calling up and saying this third Killarmy album is going to be your solo debut.

But I didn’t wanna leave my Killarmy brothers behind. So I decided to just call it another Killarmy album.

I was tired of being the leader of Killarmy, so I didn’t even wanna name the album by this third go around.

Besides the first Killarmy album, this is actually my favorite Killarmy album. Because by this time we all have grown as artist and perfected our styles to the max.

Anyways…. Happy 20th anniversary to one of the greatest hiphop albums of all time. Cheers 🍻"

Honestly 9th Prince is one of the corniest rappers I've heard and those amazing Killarmy beats were wasted on them. It's like listening to a Jedi Mind Tricks album, you just know the talented producer (Stoupe) is WAY ahead of the rapper. Killa Sin is obviously great, and Dom P is good, but that's it

I saw this months ago on his IG. Interesting to say the least. Especially considering Granddaddy Flow was released a year later.

9th was right about one thing. This was the album all of their flows and styles were perfected. Everyone is in peak form. 9th sounded his best on this album. Granddaddy flow was a great follow up. Shame he went to jail he never was the same after that. "I was tired of being the leader of killarmy" lmao.

Seems like BS. And why wait the 20 years to bring this up and nobody has ever heard this before? Regardless I always liked 9th. He gets a lot of hate on this forum but I still f#ck with him. Peace

Dom Pachino has a track on his album called "Day Two", it's a play off the track him & 9th did called "Day One" but he's basically going in on 9th prince.

Yeah I saw they just did a show together like a month ago. Hard to keep up with these 2 to be honest. I guess maybe in the end there’s no real beef as they are like brothers. But it’s very hot and cold with them. Peace

Thanks, found the track here on his bandcamp (https://dompachino.bandcamp.com/albu...m-digital-only). Together with the Holocaust one if anyone wants to listen.<br><br>Really does go off in his disappointment. So what happened exactly? Was this just money?<br><br>@hal, I don't know about chump change. First off, they have not been touring for ages. So some people would be starving to see them. On top of that, people are fiending for non-pandemic stuff. Nowadays they probably also have a different set up with the money, with less people involved. That could make the cut bigger. Last but not least, do not forget about merch. As far as I know merch brings in a lot of money at shows. Sometimes even more than the show itself. If they come prepared properly, they could flip shirts and all for a good profit.<br>
