Is there more tracks to be released by Shabazz? Is this only a single or can we expect a album dropping soon?
As with most things Shabazz, Gethsemane is a biblical reference, the garden of betrayal that Hal mentioned above.
I'm not sure that the reference is directed at Hell Razah per se, I think it's more an allegory of what modern day society has become for Shabazz... a concrete garden where men betray their own kind by murdering and snitching for the sake of a dollar. Just as Judas was guided and enticed by Romans and Jews to betray Jesus, modern day men are coerced into betraying their own directed by the unseen hand of the powers that be.
This is most likely from an album. Shabazz said in a recent interview he has two albums in the works - one with a producer from Australia, and another from a Swedish producer.
**** correction: ok I did not deep it upon first hearing, but having listened to it again, the second verse is definitely directed at Hell Razah.
