Default Justice League: The Snyder Cut (2021)

I hope that this is better that Joss Wedon's version. The running time is four (4) hours long (broken up into one hour installments).

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but WB has stated that they're aren't interested in a Snyder sequel anytime soon. I swear, WB is always on BS.

Looks mildly promising. Hard to say anything more based upon the trailer, no storyline hinted at.

Four hours though? Well I guess it's bearable split up into parts. I hope the Momoa guy doesn't get too much shine, his acting is terrible. Fatman as Batman hasn't really convinced me either so far

Not holding my breath. They already took my money with the Whedon version.

I think that this will be grand. Whedon's version was too bland and short. Zack is a more dark and story telling director.

Apparently, the exces at WB wanted the hype of this film to die down by releasing news of a Superman reboot. The WB execs were not pleased with the newly released Justice League which is scheduled to air on HBO Max on March 18, 2021. To be fair, they weren't pleased with Jack from the start since 2013 but they allowed him to roamed because he was under contract. Henry Cavil and WB have had issues for years; Ray Fisher made statements about abuse on the set from Joss Whedon, and Ben A. just quit because of "fearing of drinking" and an exec told him that he'll be an alcoholic again.

No wonder Christopher Nolan departed from WB.

^^They scrapped that idea, it's going to be a 4 hour movie with 6 chapters.

This is my review of the film.

Joss Whedon and WB are officially canceled.

    Jack Snyder’s Justice League
is a brilliant, spectacular, brilliant, grand, and exciting film that we needed 2021. The original film that was released in November 2017 was directed by Whedon due to Snyder’s daughter death by suicide that same year. Prior to Snyder’s horrific situation, a trailer was released detailing what the audience had to look forward to. Snyder and WB had plans to release a Justice League Trilogy in the following years: 2017, 2019, 2021. Unfortunately, plans fell through after Snyder daughter’s death.

The 2017 version was not well received by both fans and film critics. Rotten Tomatoes rated the film a disappointing 43% compared to the Marvel films that have done well both financially and from critics. Following the film’s release, rumors started circulating that a “Snyder Cut” exists. After must support of the unreleased Snyder version of the film, the #ReleasetheSnyderCut was born. As a result, WB provided $70 Million to fund Jack Snyder’s Justice League.

Compared to the 2017 version, this film is great. People will find that the runtime is rather long, coming in at 4hrs 2mins. This film is separated in seven (7) chapters:

1.) Don’t count on it, Batman.
    2.) The age of heroes.
    3.) Beloved mother, beloved son.
    4.) Change machine.
    5.) All the King’s horses.
    6.) Something darker.
    7.) Epilogue

Let us be honest. A four-hour film is an outrageous runtime but in this film’s case, it is worth it! All the actor’s performances were brilliant. Both Ray Porter (Cyborg) and Erza Miller (The Flash) completely stole the show. Both heroes received more airtime along with character development and structure that were left on the cutting room floor for this journey.

The main villain, Steppenwolf played by Ciaran Hinds, had more of a role and his motives were more understood. This version of Steppenwolf is bigger, stronger, much more refined, and has motives and emotions based on his past, which is different from the 2017 version. The thing that makes a huge difference in this great film is Darkseid. Compared to Thanos, Darkseid appears more grand, ruthless, stronger, and definite in his decisions.

This film ends on a cliffhanger; It’s unfortunate that Warner Brothers (WB) will not allow Snyder to film Justice League 2 and Justice League 3. As of now, #ReleaseTheSnyderVerse is a trending on both Twitter and Facebook. Justice League 2021 is a great film overall and fans would like for WB to grant Zack Snyder, writers, and producers the opportunity to continue the franchise. Based on how well this film has been received and well-reviewed, I would say that it is worth it!

Despite the long runtime, you will enjoy this film.

yeah i need to get around to this.

i absolutely hated the joss whedon version of this film, so much in fact it literally turned me off from ever watching another WB DC movie... but i did because i was bored and the gf wanted to watch a superhero movie. only reason.

    Wonder Woman was bad.
    Aquaman was bad.
Birds of Prey was... fucking terrible.
Suicide Squad was all right, but i think it came out before Justice League.

also though. i wasnt uberly impressed with Snyder's *theatrical* Batman v. Superman either, albeit i thought Ben Affleck was fuckin amazing, there was just something about it i did not care for, probably Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. BUT i watched that in theaters and since then they released the 3 hour version which is the version Snyder intended to release in the first place. i have since ordered it and am awaiting its arrival to view...

i found the theatrical version of Justice League in a wal mart dollar bin and i almost copped it to add to the collection but i am glad i didnt. i will wait for this snyder cut to release on DVD.

idk, WB needs to figure it the fuck out.

even Snyder, imo, doesnt have a great filmography and nor do these other fuck offs they have been getting to direct these films.

let alone the writers idk about any of them, havent looked them up at all but from what i have watched they are god awful suck ass's.

it also appears that every decent idea that is brought up, with a decent director that has a vision. he ends up walking out or getting replaced. and then he gets replaced again. like wtf. there is a problem somewhere along the lines of WB.

i ventured into look at what they have planned for the future and...

it appears they have another Suicide Squad movie planned entitled, as of now, The Suicide Squad. like really? and it is supposedly being directed by the guy who did the marvel Guardian of the Galaxies movies like what in the fuck sense does that make.

WB is seriously just running this DC live action universe into the fucking ground.

it is pathetic that some of the worst movies i have watched like Birds of Prey and Aquaman somehow do huge box office numbers and WB gets way more of their money back than they should so they keep making shit movies.

hopefully with how well this version has been received they can decide to pull their heads out of their asses and move forward with Snyder and Affleck. and at least have one decent story arc for the viewers that prefer something different from the marvel universe.

who knows when this will, or if it ever will, receive a home media release but ill wait a bit longer to give it a go.

I liked the first two thirds of Wonder Woman but I didn't enjoy the CGI finale. It felt like I had seen one too many battles like that one before in other superhero movies. Why does it always seem like the whole scenery needs to get destroyed and why is it always in very dark colors? I was reminded of Superman vs Batman in particular. By contrast a Marvel movie like Spider-Man : Far From Home handled the final baytle really well : you don't get the feeling half the city gets destroyed, it has lively colors AND the battle fits the villzin's psychology really well, it's not just a random battle.

The first part of the island was brilliant. And Gal Gadot is a good actress.

I haven't seen Wonder Woman 1984 yet but the trailer really appealed to me with the eighties references and the male-female dynamics

I had to turn off Aquaman twenty minutes in. It was too outlandish for me (that underwater battle where everybody's riding sea horses, come on) and I didn't enjoy Jason Momoa's acting.

I really want to see the Snyder cut now, I hope I get the chance.

Is anybody watching The Boys on Prime? I'm enjoyiing that superhero show immensely.
