Default How does the new generation of female rappers stack up to the 90s ladies?

    favorites then? favorites now?

which generation brought the heat more?

personally I'll go with nineties rappers although some artists like Kim & Foxy had lyrics written for them by BIG and Jay-Z (which is cool with me because I like those artists), but rappers like Rah Digga and (especially) Missy were wholly original

feel free to suggest some oddball choices for us to check out

Tierra Whack is dope. I like Rico Nasty, Doja, a few others.

Missy is one of my favorite artists of all time. I mean I prefer the 90s generally but it's tough to say. There were only a few great female artists back then, and theres only a few now.

I like this female. She needs to release more music. Not bad to look at also.

Roxanne Shane was a favorite of mine from back in the day. I would say there is good from both eras.

Only good female rappers were from the 90s.

I don’t generally like female rappers but I liked foxy IMO she was a real mc? I like her and Lauren Hill only.
