Default Why GFK & Cap, and Cap, GFK & Rae projects never got released?

Back in the early 2000s, Ghost and Cappa announced they were to release an LP as The Odd Couple yet. They released only one single and Cappa mentioned the name of Ghost's Supreme Clientele:

Around the same time, Ghost announced he would released an album called "Crayons" with Cappa and Raekwon. I even found the article which tells about it: http://www.mtv.com/news/1429381/ghos...on-cappadonna/

"Yeah, we're gonna do a 'Cuban Linx 2000' jointAfter all the Wu things, we're just taking it step by step after the Wu [album]. Plus me and Cappadonna are supposed to do [a project] called 'Crayons.' So we might have a 'Cuban Linx' featuring 'Crayons,' or something like that. It'll be me, Cap, and Rae. "'Crayons' is the name of the album," Ghostface said, "'cause it's like, even when we dress, sometimes we get colorful. We see everything in color, you know what I mean? So it's like 'Crayons,' even our slang. Just to call your album 'Crayons' means, 'Yo, these guys are crazy.' So that's what we do."
Does anybody know why it never got released? Was it because Wu always announced tons of albums which never got released or was there any particular reason?

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

Like you said, stuff gets announced, then never released, the norm for Wu Tang

That wtc pt 2 track has always been one of my favorites. Was there ever a pt1? I remember looking into this a few years ago but I don't think I came up with anything

Yup. There was also the RZA & ODB album that was announced on N***a Please, Abbott & Crazy Monk or something. And I believe RZA & GZA were supposed to go back to the lab? That reminds me of Above The Surface, Supreme Clientele 2: Black Cream, Liquid Swords 2, OB4CL 3.

That being said, Crayons & that RZA&ODB album always sounded like a dream.

Gza's follow up to Beneath the Surface supposedly.
It was announced on the inlay of Beneath the Surface.
I'm not 100% sure of this but Above the Surface may have eventually evolved into Legend of the Liquid Sword, or it may have been scrapped altogether.

In the "Beneath the Surface" booklet, there was an advert saying "GZA/GZA Fourth Album - December 99" but the album was never released.
