I just finished listening to the album. true mas is my favorite producer, well ok the album is ok, i still have to listen more! I'm a little disappointed that there is no sample, but especially disappointed that there is no featurings (it makes the album a little sad) true mas raps well on the other hand

It’s weird that it’s not on KP’s Spotify. Also no promo and it looks like some amateur ish too regarding the cover art. Wonder why they didn’t went with a proper release for this one.. I’ll check out the music later. Hopefully it won’t disappoint

Nevermind the above. I’m actually very impressed upon first listen.. KP did his thing with the vivid rhyme schemes and Tru Mas brought in what he usually does with the instant head bangers. I didn’t even think much about the no sample issue.. 9 out of 10 beats are dope. Could’ve used a couple of features even though True Master spat a few bars. A quick 4/5 rating

    Can't see it on spotify.

Only 23 mins? And yeah some Wu features would have been nice.

    It sounds good though.

Good album. KP's catalog remains strong. Shoutout to True for the beats

I was feeling most of the beats. Overall it's a solid (but very short) project. Much better than I thought it would be actually so I'm happy!

It's a solid listen all the way through. Short but sweet.
True has come through with atmospheric beats befitting Priest's inter-dimensional lyricism.
Hillside Stranglers hearkens back to a sound reminiscent of True's work on The Pillage.
My favourite tracks are Akashic Headress and Ether.
I also like From Babylon to Louisiana; DMT; Cathedrals too.

Really solid project. Short and perhaps feels a little unfinished, but still stands up as a great addition to Priest’s and True’s catalogues.

Production here is a good example of raw, progressive beats without samples - and without trying to make it sound like samples to recreate an older sound (Adrian Younge, Revelations etc). We need more True Master.

I enjoyed this album for the most part, but c'mon, this is surely not finished?!

23 minutes long? There's no transitions between the tracks, each track ends very abruptly then the next one immediately starts. They could have thrown some skits in there, or some instrumental interludes to move between tracks... shit they could have just faded the beat out on each track so it doesn't end so abruptly.

A couple of features would have helped this too, but for what it is I enjoyed it and will probably come back to it again.

Good to hear True Master on the mic again spitting on a few of the tracks, it's been a while!

    Peace!

KP's back to spitting instead of spoken word on here but the production is skeletal, sparse and basic. It feels like True slapped 3 elements together, called it a beat & moved on to the next one. Whole project has a slapped together, first take, rush job feel. This ain't it.
