Default Remedy's Genuine Article dropped twenty years ago today.

Great Wu Tang affiliated album. One of the best at the time. Very well produced and Remedy put a lot of introspection into his lyrics. It was a great platform for Solomon Childs also. Hearing him on this album is what really made me a fan of him.

I need to give it another listen after so many years. I can't recall any songs from it, apart from the obvious one. I'm a Solomon Childs fan just like you and I don't even remember him being on there.

Clocka was dope on this too. There was a dude by similar name in the Wu Hulu show in Divine jail scenes. Wonder if it’s same cat. Solid album minus white boy track. Peace

I remember not liking the album at all. Girlfriend had a dope beat and that's that.

I used to bump Ambush all the time. The album was pretty solid overall from what I can remember. I might give it a spin to revisit

I wasnt expecting a classic or nothing but after never again and the ep (which is one of the better killa bee “on their own” w/o wu features/production), i was kinda expecting a little morr.

but hen you add the best of TGA to the ep ya gotvyaself a dope lil project.

Yeah, Ambush is my favorite song on the album. Crazy aggressive, they all came with it on that joint
