Default DJ Muggs - Holy Ghost

Muggs has a new album dropping by the same title. Muggs output has been incredible the last few years.

Muggs and Alchemist keep putting out dope projects/tracks. It seems like they are on their own competition. A verzus between them two would be legendary. Who would have guessed that the dopest hip hop producers alive would be two white guys from West coast. At this point in time.

It's impressive that he's managed to make a comeback with an evolved, dope sound. To me, Cypress and Muggs were irrelevant for a while in the 00s.

Yeah, hip hop underwent major surgery and they were not able to keep up with Stoned Raiders and Till Death Do Us Part. Rise Up was trash and by the time Elephants On Acid dropped, they were forgotten. They are still relevant enough off of their music legacy to tour off of their first five albums and get a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame..

Elephants on Acid was dope as hell... and in my opinion, one of the best "reunion" type Hip-Hop albums.

I think a lot of people write off the 'Till Death Do Us Part' album, but for the most part it's dope as hell to me. There's some real bangers on there... Till Death Comes, Busted In The Hood, Never Know, Last Laugh, One Last Cigarette, Street Wars are all bangin.

It did have a few dud tracks... Latin Thugs, What's Your Number are the worst two... but on the whole it's a solid album that I come back to quite regularly.

    Peace!
